INDIAN ARMY VACANCY DETAILS:
1. FIRE ENGINE DRIVER- No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR)
- Educational Qualification: i) 10th standard pass or equivalent from a recognised board.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
- Pay: Rs. 21,700 / - per month.
- No. of Vacancies: 13 (UR-05, SC-03, ST-02, OBC-03)
- Educational Qualification: i) 10th standard pass or equivalent from a recognised board.ii) Must be familiar with the use and maintenance first aid fire fighting devices and Trailer Fire Pump.iii) Must know basic principles of Fire.iv) Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire Service Drills and be able to perform the tasks of the members of a fire crew.
- Experience: Must have served in a recognised Civil or Defense Fire Brigades as Fireman Grade II for a minimum period of 03 years.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
- Pay: Rs. 19,900 / - per month.
3. TRADESMAN MATE (ERSTWHILE MAZDOOR / LABORER)

- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.

7. CIVIL MOTOR DRIVER (CMD)

- Educational Qualification: i) 10th standard pass or equivalent from a recognised board.
- ii) Must have a civil driving license for heavy vehicles.
- Experience: Minimum 02 years experience of driving such vehicles.
- Desirable: Experience of driving heavy vehicles will be given preference.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
- Pay: Rs. 19900 / - per month.
8. FIRE FITTER
- No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
- Educational Qualification: i) 10th standard pass or equivalent from a recognized board / University
- ii) Must possess Diploma / TTI for the post.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
- Pay: Rs. 19900 / - per month.
- The selected candidates will be on probation for two years.
Upper Age Relaxation:
- Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category.
Physical Standards (For Fire Engine Driver and Fireman only):
(i) Height - 165 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates); (ii) Chest (unexpanded) - 81.5 cms; (iii) Chest (expanded) - 85 cms; (iv) Weight - 50kg- Candidates' Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Practical Trade Test, Physical Test, Endurance Test and Written Test Where applicable.
